Lenormand draws: ID this person and time his arrival

For all you Lenormand enthusiasts who have been reading the blogs, here is an interesting and curious draw of cards done to identify the physical attributes and characteristics of as yet an unknown person, or at least thats what the question states. As you all know- I am an avid Lenormand card reader and have enjoyed the pleasure of being a student of Sylvie Steinbach technique of the no layout. She defines well in her book how to ID a person of as yet unknown when you approach the question with a blank canvas. She also recommends double checking in the same verin of the line of questioning.

So here’s the question: How do I ID the man who I will settle down with? (basically this question asks for physical description, characteristics and useful info for you to spot him when he enters your life). Here is answer number 1: the 28 man charged for ID purpose and therefore a blank canvas- now we fill in the colours of his personality and draw him out.

This second draw- is to double check the first draw because I had my concerns naturally with the nature of the cards. So I reasked the cards with the same blank canvas, and the spread below is the second answer.

What I would like for when you answer, in the above 2 drawsof which you are going to create the description of this man, tell me what makes this to draw related? or if you think the two draws are not related, tell me why also. Basically- are they decsriptions for the same person or are they talking about 2 different people?  I will post my interpretations of this draw after a few interpretations have been thrown in the mix as I do not wish to cloud your judgement. I have specific reasons why I felt the need to double check the draw.

Now, with regards of timing- I asked the Lenormand, when can I anticipate the arrival of the gentleman we have ID’ed as above. Note, here, a random 5 card draw is done with no key cards charged. Obviously there are clues in the draw to make it relevant to the reading for the purpose of timing. Here is her answer:

Within this draw, there is a proposed timing, I would like it if you could gestimate from the cards what is the most likely time frame within which the person you ID’ed will show up. In my mind, when th ecards were drawn, the time frame is within 1 year and no more. But this maybe more than an overshot as the draw suggests differently.

Lenormand draw– Tell me 2 sides of a story and see if they meet.

Here I have with me  2 fascinating draws which tella story. The story in itself cannot be more accurately represented than how the cards were drawn. The draw by the way- was done by a fellow Lenormand enthusiast who thought it quite apt I post it here. Please bear in mind– 2 people can feel so differently in a relationship. As Sylvie would say– it is not what you think- it is what THEY (sitter) thinks/ feels!!!

OK- we have a lady– who is not so sure about her love life– . But- she wants to know–

1. Where is her love life at the moment- basically she wants to know whats going onbecause she doesnt know anymore ( sometimes, don’t we all?) herself, the English say- Am I coming or going?.

The draw is as follows- note- all cards should be read in a continuous line- only one card charged 29 Woman-

‘6 Clouds+18 Dog+ 29 Woman+8 Coffin+ 12 Birds + 28 Man + 4 House + 31 Sun + 13 Child’

I present to you the draw as  given to me. Personally- I would ignore the last 2 cards in the draw because it doesnt add any more info.

So what have we here- friendly woman with a friendship confusion ( clouds+dog)- since we asked about love life- Immediately we see a matter- there has been or there is someone 🙂 she is not sure where she’s at with this guy. Next – the coffin indicates some stagnation or a slow phase in the relationship or perhaps within the couple communicating– Summary– confusion within relationship, probably due to lack of communication. But what have we here- The man- heart + house- hmm- who is this guy- how does he tie in- is he the dog person?— because now we uncovered there is a known entity ( Dog) nothing seems to be happening with this person- another man is in the horizon- with his heart in hand- probably somewhere she lives (her home)- he is all about the masculine (warm and friendly to) and wants to start something with her (child). Aww!! Also- sneaky suspicion- all taking place in summer (July, august, Sept)

Now- Lady after hearing what was said– admits something– she isnt sure how someone feels about her- They are not quite at couple stage but are sort of (she wants him to say we are a couple now!!)- you either are or you are not right???  So she admits– yes there is someone back home she wants some clarity on- bingo!!! the dog and the man are 2 of the same person!!! the dog represents the nature of the relationship- not quite romantic (in Lady’s view)- but something more enduring– a partnership (this is my view)!!!

So- now we go to layer 2- whats happening with the man back at home? 28 man and 29 woman charged

’12 Birds + 9 Bouquet+ 28 Man + 6 Clouds + 26 Book + 10 Scythe 18 Dog + 19 Tower + 29 Woman’

What is this– bird + bouquet- happy relationship or blissfully happy couple- hmm– it does appear our boy is convinced he in a relationship- ( but our lady doesnt seem to know that for sure tho). But to his right- clouds + books+ scythe– yeuchh– stress/anxiety with studies — and him making a fateful decision (scythe+ key). Dog + tower + woman- i would ignore these cards- because they dont add any valuable info apart from saying– yes- they know each other, our lady is in her ivory tower and feeling lonely. I would have stopped at the Key- because thats the best card- 🙂

Why– despite the clouds casting a mist over the man, he seems to be focused (book) and surely knows what he wants and makes precise decisions ( scythe) which seems to be in favour of our lady (the key is positive- in fact so positive it is waaay positive- any doubts she has about the guy– she needs to cast aside- sometimes our own insecurities and need for constant reassurance will be the downfall)!!

But notice the overlap of cards– the key corresponds to the heart in the first draw- which is a nice coincidence- they will be starting something together despite the ambivalence. sometimes, a little mystery spices the life up,, no?

She wants to know are they an item or not- therefore transalates into the confusion within the friendship. He however- already sees it as tho he is in couply relationship with her- but why hasnt he said anything?? There is some stress around, maybe to do with some unexpected issues–but he makes a decision with regards of this relationship– perhaps actually making it more concrete and obvious for our lady. We all need /want some confirmation- is suspect- and she will get it.

I like readings like this- they seem like nice people who really like each other- just havent quite gotten their act togther yet- there is something innocent and enduring about this realtionship- i hope it works out well for them despite the ups and downs..

No layout spread looking into state of mind and state of play

– there are times when I think– being a snoop is all about accepting the burden knowledge– and there are times with it is just being plain nosey-:)

I wanted to ease the mental dilemma a dear friend was going through– agonising over the rights and wrongs of meeting her very first boyfriend- who was her first love and incidentally the most fulfilling relationship she ever had. Now that the she is single- and he is somewhat available (he is technically what i could decsribe as in a rebound relationship)- i thought maybe if they did meet up– things might look different??

i couldn’t convince her– the sweet girl  feels giddy like a school girl at the thought of him!

I asked the cards- where is this man at, this moment? only 2 key cards charged- 28 Man and 29 Woman.

‘7 Snake + 4 House + 6 Clouds+ 28 Man + 33 Key + 31 Sun + 29 Woman‘

well–i didnt even need to contemplate more- clouds and key next to the man- it is obvious he is going through a state of mental unease. the ambivalence and confusion feels heady and sticky- but the key makes it obvious why- he has to go through this as it is destined. This is his lesson- and come out on the other side like a preordained spiritual warrior! nice–

where’s the drama- the past- difficult homelife by a possible female partner– snake + house

The future- hmm– the sun- bright futue, the return of the ego and masculine drive, the promise of being the man- next to the woman card- probably starts flexing his biceps 🙂 (chuckles) ready to have her back in his life- perhaps.. he sees her as his sun- the light he has been looking for!

Feedback- he was with a woman for a good few years- they have separated– according to friends of this guy- she was a very unpleasant woman- she did her damage while she was around-. at the moment- our gentleman- is seeing a new woman- who lives in a different city to him.

so, as per Syvie’s advice- I double checked- if what i am picking up is correct– is our lady in this man’s future..?

I think i have resounding yes- that she is in his future and she is there to stay 🙂

I felt- the birds+ bear- this is like siblings and mother– hammering into him some advice and wisdom- the bear gives the homebody feel to him and I suspect he is a couple kind of man- not a solo artist-

in the future- the right side- we have moon- the romantic attraction and emotional aspect- being communicated via letter– perhaps an invitation for a date is to come through to her– when it happens- it will spark of what could only be the happy ever after that they are both looking for- it starts with them and many many years ago and maybe they could be together again in the future– anchor is all bout the long haul! (20 years or more chaps!)

feedback- it appears that his mum and sister have been gently nudging him to get in touch with my sitter- they feel that he would be so much happier and indeed he does still have soft spot for her- 🙂 (Cute!)

all in all– when the first reading confirms the second.. i am without doubt that i am predicting a reunion..just some kinks need to be ironed out– ad it appears he has to initiate it as well– 🙂

Daily Draw- 34 Fish + 21 Mountain + 19 Tower Extra 12 Birds

A rather sombre dare I say dull daily draw- it is obvious that there is not much excitement to be had- perhaps this is a good thing.

34 Fish- money matters or entrepreneur

21 Mountain- delays/ obstacles- state of denial

19 Tower- official matters,

12 Birds- verbal communication, stress/ anxiety

So- Expect some delay in money matters, probably some official dealings/talks is to be had over the telephone- Looking at the combinations- Fish+Mountain=stagnant activities, Mountain+Tower= locked/ legal restrictions, Tower + Birds=senate/assembly.

Not sure how to transpose the last combination but perhaps this financial issue may not be in my control but perhaps something to do with the new govermental legislation. Will need to see how this pans out as this draw is not resonating with me today, but it might during the week..

Update 9/4/2008!!!!! : this is has definitely come as a pre warning to a financial setback- stung by a council tax bill ££££ — costing thousands– D*** – Fidddlesticks!!!!!!! have to pay regardless.. so there we go- the cards again have warned me and it is here in record!

No Layout spread for B on love

I felt I should post this layout as it has technically come to pass 🙂 I am awaiting the feedback details on this reading done for LF’s brother BF on 6/3/08. B wanted to know who is the next woman that is going to come into his life who will offer the kind of relationship that he wants ( this is a long list btw- in short someone who can be a friend and a lover was the gist I got).

Question 1

How will B recognise the woman who is going to offer what he needs in a relationship?

’36 Cross + 16 Stars + 12 Birds + 29 Woman + 35 Anchor + 24 Heart + 29 Letters’

In my reading for B, I explained that this lady, in the past or not so long ago- may have suffered some sorrow and went through a low period- may have affected her mentally and physically (Cross). But she recovers from it and starts looking forward to life-new things and new people (Stars). She is also quite imaginative and open (stars+bird) 🙂 which is a good thing. The Birds speaks of being talkative/communicative – and also can represent companion (bird+woman)  which makes her ideal for B. He likes chatty birds 🙂 ( In england, birds mean girls lol!!). She might also be working in the communication media.

In the future- She will be stable, reliable and quite settled (anchor). Also looking to settle down and thinks long haul in relationship and romance (woman+anchor). To describe her- she may have dark features possibly eyes/hair. The romantic possibility (heart) is there as she desires love and affection, possibly when she meets B. They perhaps will exchange numbers and communicate via email/texts (letter) . I also intuited that there is a possibility she maybe in his workplace (Anchor) .  I don’t get the feeling that he may know her ( ie- if he has met her before).

So I checked 🙂

Question 2: Where will she be when B meets her?

So, it is nice to see the return of the cards to confirm we are barking up the right tree so to speak. So, in the past Heart+ Tree confirms a soulmate connection or a karmic romance. This could be either a past life thing or that he has met her before( also I get the feeling he fancied her back the as well)- the situation was not ideal to consolidate any relationship ( as the previous layout mentioned the Cross- so sorrow/ sadness). Nevertheless, it is a promising start as there is a karmic link- and the Tree suggests working in health field. I should mention B is a paramedic so- this is quite a strong possibility.

The Stars+Birds combination comes up again- so she makes a fresh start in a new job/promotion (stars)? working in the communication sector where she has to be  a spokesperson of some sort. I think it is likely it is within the health sector still.

So that was me and what I said on the 6th.

Feedback: I will be seeing B tomorrow for the full story. He has given me a hint that the woman I predicted is working in the Hospital Ambulance service 🙂 and he has met her before and thought she was hot 🙂 . She had a partner then which she has broken up with- caused a lot of stress and was low  for a while. She has now taken up a new post in the communications office within the ambulance service. I will post other relevant details asap – 🙂

I wonder if I could have predicted a time factor although I didnt ask for one in the layouts?

Update 23/3/08- I have confirmation that this lady is working in ambulant dispatch communication service- she will start retraining in this. B did meet her 2 years ago in the paramedic training college where it was located in a foresty woodsy place. Not so long ago she suffered a back injury while working which caused her to go off sick and she also separated from her partner. Very chatty and funny- has dark hair/eyes but pale skin. They have exchanged numbers when they re-met.

Daily Draw- Lenormand Oracle 7 cards

I thought a once weekly 7 card draw would be appropriate on a Sunday.

‘4 House+ 32 Moon + 35 Anchor + 33 Key + 11 Whip + 12 Birds + 30 Lily’

House represents domestic space, place that one grew up in or a real house. Coupled with the moon- implies the emotional ties/ feelings about home. I am missing my home- House+moon- honour in the house/ dream home- 

Moon represents emotions/ affectations also a love bond. Taken in context with anchor- suggests strength in the bond ie stability. Moon+ anchor- emotional stability/ long term romance.

Anchor represents matters of security- ie work/life/love and health. Combined with a strong card the Key- indicates one of these matters could be in focus. Any concerns needs to be addressed. Anchor+Key= karmic ties/ success at  work.

Key is the Lenormand exclamation mark, ‘look out for this!’- also a sure sign of things happening. With the whip card- a discussion will definitely take place! Key + whip= spiritual fighter/ conversations taking place for certain.

Whip is all about communication and also the clear out card. Means what will take place can be a cleansing process. In context as it appears before the birds- conversations within a couple/ between 2 people. May cause stress and anxiety. Whip+Birds= arguments/ passionate conversations.

Birds mean couples or two people. The nature of the talk was defined by the prior card-Whip. Birds+Lily- the conversation is also a serious one.

Lily often represents the lover or someone older and also speaks of physical intimacy. The Lily is often a known person (description: looks or acts older than age/ dark grey hair/ 30-40’s)

This draw infers a lot will be happening in the next 7 days, heated discussions of a personal nature, work is ok, and more thoughts about home…we shall see how this pans out..

Daily Draw- 12 Bird + 34 Fish + 27 Letters, 31 Sun

I should have expected this.. I am considering to change the times when I am doing these draws. Either early in the morning or late evening might be the way forward. Considering that- as long as consistency is maintained, I should be able glean relevant information from the draws.

Perhaps, expecting profound information on a daily basis is too much to ask from  mon amie Lenormand. Mundane stuff is part of life too. As with anything, once a pattern emerges, I will be able to see the bigger picture.

Here’s what I drew today 12/3/2008 :

                          

‘ 12 Birds + 34 Fish + 27 Letters….. Extra card 31 Sun’

The letters and sun card have come up a few times now for me. I wonder what this could be about.My draw today perhaps reflect the highlight of my day that took place not too long ago before the draw.

Birds represent communication and discussions between people. The Fish could be speaking of either matters concerning money or lots of people ( the old adage- plenty of fish in the sea lol!!). Letters represents written communication email, texts or letters if taken literally. Now the Sun– means its all good, sunny outcome- good decision or may represent a person as well–charismatic individuals with fire signs (Aries, Sagittarius,Leo).

Piecing it all together- as I was concentrating on a prospective level with this draw- I could intepret that communications regarding income takes place via in writing which will be good and beneficial. I speculate this could be me biting the bullet and accepting to cover for a colleague for work which results in extra cash. I hesitated a little about this- since extra cash would not hurt- I thought why not- All of this took place via email by the way. I am pleased that it turns out that not only I get paid more for doing this- I am also entitled to 2 extra days leave. Result!!!

I do have some nagging doubts about this though. Since I thought prospective, why are the cards talking about something that took place not so long ago?

If I were to consider the cards unveiling a future event- might this be speaking about a couple discussing a holiday(near water) via emails/text ,  it will be a good thing  and takes place in summer?? The Fish could represent a timeframe- 21st Feb – 21st Mar. So I could anticipate talks on or before Mar 21st which is in writing- no need to worry as its all good– 🙂

My instincts say that  the former interpretation is most accurate as I have something tangible to hang this on to. Had I drawn the same set first thing in the morning- I would consider both possibilities but place weight on the first explanation.

Card reading LF 7/2/08- Fertility

As promised, the trilogy of the card session was on LF having children.  So we asked 2 separate questions. I refer also to the current topic being discussed in the ‘Secrets of the Lenormand Oracle’ study group where we are  analysing a spread on fertility. Check  out the link below:

Question 1: Will LF have children in the future?

Answer:

14 Birds + 20 Garden + 22 Mountain + 5 Tree + 22 Crossroads + 34 Fish + 24 Heart

As fertility is a health issue- utilising the no layout technique, the keycard 5 Tree was charged.

To the left- we see Birds + Garden + Mountain combination. I felt this represented the couple. Good start as I see this as her having a partner 🙂

Garden+Mountain is not so good as it could represent immunity issues causing delays with regards of having children. It is a well known fact that incompatible immune systems can cause fertility issues.  I stipulated- the couple will be having fertility issues due to their immune system which causes them some delays. Mountain+Tree represents blockages/stagnation in health-

If the Moon card was present- I could infer that there could be female reproductive organs issues such as blocked Fallopion tubes etc. As it isn’t here- I will not speculate-

To the right- Crossroad+Fish+Heart

this is interesting- Crossroads representing choices/solutions and/or the no 2. According to Sylvie’s book- represents veins and arteries- Fish represents kidney/bladder and the heart – Heart. This seems a little difficult as I explained to LF, possibility of improving cardiovascular health may be the solution ie- losing weight/ exercise/diet etc helps as provides optimum health status for conception. Perhaps this was what the initial immunity problems meant, poor health, poor immune system means delays in conceiving.

LF’s feedback- She has been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian syndrome- which can affect the kidney/bladder with cysts, predispose her to diabetes which is a risk factor for heart problems and itself a cause for infertility.

Update: No LF is not pregnant 🙂 just a thought, one of the benefits of Sylvie’s study group, ideas crop up which is a possibilty. As LF drew the 34 Fish- I was considering the idea of sperm donors as possibility which could represent as one of the choice (22 Crossroad). This makes sense if incompatible immunity between partners is a factor.

So we asked question 2, will LF conceive the natural way?

Answer:

It is interesting to see- the first spread gave me the reasons why there will be delays and the issues around it. Taking into account of the first layout- if all issues were addressed- the 2nd layout gives a response.

to the left of the key card- Anchor+woman+bouquet+Tree

I felt this means- all things being well and addressed- Anchor to me represents stable matters (in all areas of life- in this spread ie health)- our lady LF will have blossoming health and be fertile (bouquet+tree).

to the right- tree+scythe+garden+sun-

she might have to undergo a surgical procedure, I feel this maybe a c-section(scythe). this is not entirely a bad thing as garden+sun promises a succesful and celebratory outcome 🙂

Addendum- if I took into account the possibility of sperm donors, then the Scythe could mean IVF as well. Either way- both outcomes are promising..

So — she will have to address particular health issues and when this is done- she will be in good health and shape to conceive naturally. A surgical intervention may be needed at the end but this promises a good celebratory outcome nevertheless.
